US publication Autotrader has named the Volvo XC40 to its Best New Cars of 2021 list along with just 11 other models out of the 300 tested in total. The XC40 was also on Autotrader’s 2019 list of Best New Cars.
The Volvo XC40 impressed Autotrader jurors with its refinement, performance, and overall luxury. The new electric Volvo XC40 Recharge also impressed Autotrader voters.
“Think of the XC40 Recharge as a performance EV for the masses,” said Andrew of the XC40 pointing to the lively performance of this EV. Brian echoed this sentiment praising its “Tesla-like fun, decent range, and impressive acceleration.” Not to mention the Volvo brand reputation for safety. “Yes, it’s safe, but that’s not what you’ll be thinking when piloting the new XC40 Recharge,” Brian said.
