The powerful electric motor in the rear not only delivers great power, it also gives Recharge models a unique kind of AWD system called eAWD. It can perform better than its rivals at low speeds, when towing, and when driving on slippery roads that demand extra traction and stability.

For example, Volvo S60, V60, XC60, S90, and XC90 Recharge models all deliver between 56 kilometres and 65 kilometres of range depending on the model. This is made possible by the high-output battery, but also one-pedal drive capability on XC60 and S90 models.
