The XC60’s T8 engine is the plug-in hybrid engine in the XC60 lineup. It delivers 400 horsepower (!) and 27 kilometres of range.

- More expensive option
2021 Volvo XC60 T8 Polestar Engineered
The T8 Polestar Engineered is designed to deliver remarkable performance paired with efficiency. It takes the T8 engine and engineers it for more performance with 415 horsepower. This engine delivers 415 horsepower.
Pros
- Offered in the distinct, impressive Polestar model
- Great power with impressive efficiency
- Less than 10 litres per 100 kilometres average fuel economy
Cons
- Offered only in the Polestar model which may be too much for some.
