The 2022 Volvo XC60 Recharge has received significant improvements this month. Volvo announced that XC60 Recharge models would now be equipped with an 18.8 kWh battery which replaces the outgoing 11.6 kWh battery.
This means at the 2022 Volvo XC60 Recharge now offers 58 km of all electric range, an improvement of 27 km over the previous XC60 Recharge which represents an 87% increase in overall range. This is absolutely remarkable and definitely highlights the improvements made to the new XC60 Recharge.
The new XC60 Recharge gives you so much more value. You can now do most of your daily driving or all of it using electric power alone. That means that you will significantly save on your weekly fuel consumption. The improved efficiency of the XC60 Recharge isn't the only thing that's worth noting about this improved 2022 model.
The Volvo XC60 Recharge also features more power. With 455 hp, this is the most powerful compact luxury plug-in hybrid SUV you can buy. It surpasses the Lexus NX plug-in hybrid by about 150 hp, and it has nearly 165 more horsepower than the BMW X3 PHEV.
