The style
The 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge and the 2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge are two closely related vehicles that share their mechanicals and some of their styling elements. For example, the front end of both models is almost identical, save for a few small details. Where they each come into their own is from the sides and the rear. The XC40 Recharge shows a traditional Volvo SUV profile that is more upright, while the C40 Recharge adopts a trendy flowing roofline that is designed to recall a coupe due to its arching shape. This makes the C40 instantly recognizable among its competition
The practicality
The 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge and the 2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge both benefit from the brand’s experience in making practical wagons and SUVs and they offer a number of clever cargo management solutions such as a multifunction cargo compartment floor that includes grocery bag hooks and a cargo divider. The XC40 Recharge is better suited to transport large items due to its higher roof, but the C40 Recharge also has a significant amount of space behind the rear seat.
The trim levels
Another noticeable different between the 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge and the 2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge is the level of equipment and the price. The XC40 Recharge is offered in three trim levels: Core, Plus and Ultimate. These different models allow it to offer a more affordable price and also to offer a number of new technologies. On the other hand, the C40 Recharged is only offered in a single fully equipped model, which makes it easier to choose since the only options are the paint colours, interior trim and a trailer hitch.
