The Volvo V60 is the perfect balance between a performance sedan and a powerful SUV. It has surgically calibrated driving dynamics and a low ground clearance, but still delivers plenty of passenger and cargo volume thanks to its wagon configuration. It also includes everything Volvo has to offer in terms of Scandinavian refinement and comfort.
When you choose the V60 Recharge, you also get optimal efficiency, thanks a powerful, yet very efficient hybrid powertrain that lets drivers and their families conquer daily errands without using any fuel.
This year, the Volvo Recharge plug-in hybrid powertrain in the V60 gets more power, increased efficiency and improved driveability.
The 2022 Volvo V60 Recharge Gets More Power
Under the hood of the 2022 Volvo V60 Recharge, you will find the T8 AWD plug-in hybrid unit. It is now geared with a new long-range 18.8 kWh battery that replaces the 11.8 kWh unit, and a more powerful rear electric motor that delivers 143 hp compared to the outgoing 87 hp unit.
This increase in power makes the Volvo V60 Recharge quicker thanks to a 455-horsepower combined output rating, it also makes its AWD system more competent at low speeds, when towing, or when driving in difficult conditions.
The 2022 Volvo V60 Recharge Gets More Range
The new long-range 18.8 kWh battery gives the 2022 Volvo V60 Recharge extended all-electric range. Drivers now have a full 64 kilometres range on Pure mode, which is a considerable improvement from the outgoing battery, which was rated at 35 kilometres. This represents an 83% increase.
The 2022 Volvo V60 Recharge now allows drivers to pre-heat or pre-cool the cabin remotely via the Volvo Cars app, even when the car is not plugged in. Drivers also get one-pedal drive feature, which gives them the option to control acceleration and deceleration using only the accelerator pedal – this feature will be available later in the year.
The 2022 Volvo V60 Recharge now offers more power and performance, more electric range and more technology. Come see it today in our showroom! You can also shop for your car online with us. Our representatives are waiting for your call and can answer all your questions.
